Welcome to myShahada. By accessing or using myShahada (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (the "Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

myShahada is an Islamic platform dedicated to supporting individuals interested in Islam, new Muslims, and practicing Muslims through educational content, shahada scheduling, Islamic tools, and community features.

1. Our Services

The Platform provides educational Islamic content, shahada ceremony scheduling and certification, prayer times, Quran and Hadith references, a halal food finder, a mosque finder, estate planning tools, and related services. While we strive to ensure accuracy and adherence to Islamic values, users are advised to consult qualified Islamic scholars for specific religious guidance. Content on the Platform does not constitute religious rulings (fatwas).

2. User Accounts

Some features require account registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as necessary. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. User Representations

By using the Platform, you represent that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), will comply with these Terms, will not use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purposes, and that the information you provide is truthful and accurate.

4. Intellectual Property

We own or are licensed to use all intellectual property rights in the Platform, including software, content, design, and trademarks. You may use the Platform and its content for personal, non-commercial use only. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification of our content is prohibited. 6. Shahada Services

Shahada scheduling, ceremonies, and certificates are provided as a religious service. Certificates include a verification code for authenticity. By scheduling a shahada, you consent to the collection and processing of personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Ceremony details are treated as sensitive religious data with enhanced protections.

7. Privacy Policy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy. MyShahada does not sell user data and does not display advertising.

8. Third-Party Links & Services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services (such as Calendly for scheduling). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of these external services.

9. Service Management

We reserve the right to: monitor the Platform for violations of these Terms; take appropriate action against users who violate these Terms; restrict or terminate access to the Platform at our discretion; modify, update, or discontinue any feature of the Platform.

10. Termination

These Terms remain effective while you use the Platform. We may terminate or suspend your access without prior notice if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you may request deletion of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimer

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, completeness, and availability of the Platform and its content. Islamic content on the Platform is for educational purposes and does not replace consultation with qualified scholars.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to use the Platform, if any.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms will first be subject to good-faith informal negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be settled through binding arbitration in California, United States.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through a notice on our platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
